These gorgeous pieces recently found a home in Southbourne, Dorset. The first, pictured above, is a gorgeous splashback that makes full use of the space in which it’s placed. As with all of our bespoke pieces of glass, it perfectly matches the measurements required and now sits snugly behind the cooker. In contrast to traditionally plain coloured glass splashbacks, there are many elements working together to create the end result, so we’ll point out a few of them!

The design is one that we love dearly, of course, as we’re big fans of the seaside. White sails raise out of the glass to create texture and illustrate boats making their way across the water. We especially love the way that there are three bands of soft colours that complement each other magically, with wispy clouds and more creating details that will have you gazing at this piece for hours.

Coloured Glass Splashbacks Southbourne Dorset 2The second piece is similarly scenic and continues on the seaside theme with a lovely take on our beach huts design. It adds a vivid splash of colour to an otherwise very neutral kitchen and complements the modern styling perfectly. Together, these two beautiful works illustrate just how effective it can be to have multiple pieces creating a theme in a room.

If you love the look of these two pieces, why not invest in your own? You could have something made in the same style, or you could change certain elements to match your home better. You could even go for something completely original, as we make all of our bespoke fused glass art by hand and by request. Your imagination is the limit in that regard! Hopefully, we’ll be delivering something special to your doorstep soon!
