Have a look at this rather fetching kitchen, found in a home in Dunscroft, Doncaster. We recently delivered fused glass art there, bringing two pieces in total to completely transform the entire space. We love the modern styling of the room, with extremely clean lines and a very neutral lack of colour making everything feel especially contemporary. It makes sense that the fused glass art we provided would have to be similarly monochromatic, so let’s have a look at the two panels that were installed to each wall.

Just one look at the kitchen before adding fused glass art should highlight what a difference good decoration can make!

The first is the central splashback located behind the cooker, and we reckon it’s definitely what grabs your eye first when you step into the room. It features a simply stunning wave design that’s built on a silvery white background of subtle texture and soft gradients, with textured dark grey pieces, bold black accents and bright white streaks to add those all important finishing touches. It’s an absolute feast for the eyes, and it matches the kitchen even better than we’d hoped it would.

If you look closely, you should be able to see the matching panel that sits across from the cooker. We love the way that the light shines down onto this complementary piece, which was made to match its counterpart perfectly, and we think it’s the perfect example of how our bespoke glass can be sized and cut perfectly to fit even the most awkward space. In this case, the glass had to be cut at an angle and a hole for the socket was made. The end result speaks for itself!
