Our client’s holiday in Madagascar was the inspiration for the design of this bespoke fused glass art kitchen splashback. Steve & Sandra provided photographs for scenery details they wanted included in the composition. The colours were provided by way of paint codes and digital images of other colour points of reference within the kitchen. In this case, you can see the fabric place mats on the kitchen island show the type of purple needed to be included in the splashback. The result is an artist’s impression of their Madagascan photograph using all the colours within the kitchen.

Customer Comments:

“Dear Paul and Lisa

Please find pictures of splashback installed yesterday.  Looks brillant! Goes well with our colour scheme. Just one query how do you clean it? Naturally over the years it will get splashed with oil. What do you recommend we use. Thanks for all your hardwork; you have really captured the essence of our picture.

Regards
Sandra”

Incidentally, the answer to the cleaning question is that we recommend any glass cleaner but Lisa’s preference is Method Glass Cleaner which is available from most good supermarkets and John Lewis. It is non toxic and has a lovely mint fragrance.
