This is another spectacular location for our glass, just on the outskirts of the bustling ferry port of Oban. With a view over to the Isle of Mull and inner Hebrides, it’s quite a scenic place. The client wanted something to match their blue trimmed fire. With a nautical theme in mind, Lisa set to work creating the beautiful yachts that you see on the piece today. With shades of both red and blue, it almost seems if the yachts are coming in for the day. Of course, it’s always difficult to choose a piece of art to go over a solid fuel burner due to the heat and dust that can end up hurting the piece, but with our fused glass art there’s no need to compromise. It’s ideal above solid fuel fires and has no issues with heat! Spare dust? Our splash backs are extremely easy to clean.
