These five panels of fused glass wall art are the latest pieces to find a new home, making their way out of our kilns and hitting the road until finally being delivered to this gorgeous property in Southwell, Nottinghamshire. Created to match up with the chairs in the room and a bespoke glass splashback found elsewhere in the kitchen, they make for a uniquely decorative glass installation that can’t be missed.

Although the pieces are some of the most colourful we’ve ever made, the customer didn’t want the designs to be too garish or use colours too closely aligned to their primary counterparts. As such, Lisa made sure to dial back the volume on the colours used in order to create a few different shades, adding a splash of subtlety while retaining the vivid edge of the five matching designs.

You can see the end result of the project pictured above and in a wider shot below. We think that the glass is definitely extremely vibrant and colourful, but subtly nuanced enough that the overall effect is incredibly stylish and not too distracting. Although, having said that, we dare anyone that enters this room not to notice these five panels!
