Featuring two distinct splashbacks as part of an installation, this gorgeous kitchen in Gerards Cross, Buckinghamshire is a gorgeous work that we did some time ago. It’s not aged a day, however, and still looks incredibly sharp even now. We’ll walk you through the design of both pieces, and tell you a little bit about them. We can guarantee one thing immediately, however, and that’s that you’re bound to be impressed with how much our glass offers when compared to traditional options such as plain coloured glass splashbacks.

The first panel sits neatly behind the cooker, and features a gorgeous Tree of Life design spreading its branches on a green background. Multicoloured leaves add an incredible splash of colour, and at the base of the tree sits a Bearded Collie. If you look closely, you should be able to see the gorgeous dog sat in the field of long grass which runs across the bottom of the splashback. The second splashback, which you can see pictured in the background of the image above, features similar colours to the first. This helps bring the two pieces together, and creates a visible theme in the kitchen that unifies the décor. You’ll be able to spot another Collie in that panel, too, enjoying the Bluebell Woods.

So, what do you think? Are you feeling inspired to get your hands on your very own piece of glass? We’ve no doubt that you’ll be feeling tempted by our alternatives to plain coloured glass splashbacks, so don’t be afraid to act on that feeling. After all, there’s really nothing quite like a unique piece of fused glass art from the experts here at The House of Ugly Fish, so make sure you don’t wait to get in contact as soon as you can.
