This beautiful piece of bespoke glass wall art found a home in Porthcawl, an equally scenic and thoroughly lovely town on the south coast of Wales. The customers were looking for a different kind of scenery when they put in the order for this piece, however, as they wanted the three panels to show Sa Dragonera in Majorca. It made for a very striking sight, and it was one that they could see from their holiday home. They loved the view so much that they just had to bring it back with them, and what better way to capture something vivid than to put it into fused glass art?
As you can see, the end result really brings the view to life, and looking at the panel almost feels like you’re gazing through a window. Through the use of bright orange hues and blue tones, the landscape is boldly realised and faithfully depicted. The silhouette of the island against the sky is something that we hope will be remembered every time the piece is viewed, and we just know that guests who visit the home will immediately find themselves drawn to it.
In total, the piece measures a whopping two metres in length and one metre in height, making this triptych a truly grand affair. When you stand in front of it, you really feel a sense of scale! We don’t just specialise in large bespoke glass wall art panels, though, as fused glass art is nothing if not versatile. We have kitchen splashbacks, bowls, drinks coasters, windows, and much more on offer here on our website. Come and have a gander!
