This is a beautiful fused glass splashback that went to a home in Crondall, Hampshire. The customer, as you might be able to tell from the design, kept bees. She had three that made it into the splashback, complete with the colours of the real beehives, and this formed the main element of the design. A whole host of wildflowers completed the effect of a busy field, with a lush arrangement of glass pieces, enamel powders and more creating the illusion of depth in the piece. The more you look, the more detail you should be able to see.
