We’ve heard it called infused glass art, coloured glass and even stained glass, but we know it as fused glass art. Today, we thought we’d talk about it a little bit!

The glass is entirely bespoke, meaning that every aspect of the design is created handmade from scratch. It’s entirely up to you as to how the end result will look, combined with Lisa’s unique artistic flair and interpretation. Decide on the design, the colour palette you’d like to go for, and change it up however you like.

To give you a great example, customers are always looking to personalise our classic Tree of Life design by adding in little details such as flowers and animals that have a special significance to them. Most commonly, beloved family pets or silhouettes of loved ones find their way into the glass, ensuring they have a permanent place in the home. You can find a great example of a very recent Tree of Life pictured at the top of this blog. In that case, the colours were perfectly picked out to complement the décor of the kitchen.

Your very own bespoke splashback could make for a perfect match, or there’s no reason why you couldn’t create a glass wall art panel to have the same striking effect you see here.

Infused glass art or fused glass art, no matter what you want to call it, is our passion here at The House of Ugly Fish and we’re not looking to stop any time soon.
