Creating fused glass art is just the gift that keeps on giving. Not only do we get to do the thing we love day in and day out, but we also get to travel on the job too! Making bespoke pieces for individual clients, means we get to visit the places they will be installed. Sometimes the pieces are for local clients, but we often have requests for fused glass art from far and wide.

Take the last two trips we made, one was down on the South Coast, Port Solent near Portsmouth whilst the other was on The Isle of Mull off the west coast of Scotland. Pretty much poles apart! While we’re on location, we always do our best to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings. We ended up staying in Mull for a few days after the fused glass art installation was complete – there’s some outstanding scenery and beautiful wildlife up there!

We went up with the fused glass art in June and just look at the incredible views. The picture on the right is of the Isle’s capital, Tobermory.

Of course we couldn’t travel all that way to install some fused glass art without taking Angel, our black Labrador. As you can see she really loved having the entire beach to herself!
