BESPOKE FUSED GLASS ART KITCHEN SPLASHBACKS – TREE OF LIFE

Description:

The Tree of Life design has become one of our most popular designs in recent months. Each tree created is unique and there are a few reasons why. The trees come about after consultations with the clients. They may see a tree they like the look of and want to add things to it, like butterflies, or change the colours in the leaves and flowers.

It may be that the client has a particular tree in mind, like a Silver Birch for example. Lisa will create a tree of life based on the specific tree. Sometimes, the configuration of the splashback dictates the shape of the tree. A recent commission saw a simple twisted tree with only a few delicate leaves scattered around. This was for a small galley kitchen in London where the tree needed to be subtle. Trees can be realistic or abstract.

The choices are really quite endless where trees are concerned! Lisa likes to attribute characteristics to the tree that she has spotted in the person commissioning the tree. An example of this would be, a person with a great big personality might lead to a big, bushy oak tree resplendent with sparkly leaves, and lots of them.
