This incredible pair of bespoke glass splashback found a way to Farnham, Surrey, where they now adorn the walls of a beautiful kitchen. The customer who commissioned the pieces had seen a couple of images that she really liked the look of, and thought that having them recreated in the medium of fused glass art would make for a tremendous sight.
She really loved the particular garden bird that you see pictured above, along with the blossom tree branches and the colour palette of vivid greens paired with photo-realistic shades.
It was such a charming idea that she didn’t just settle for one panel. A matching piece was created to continue the image in the first, with Lisa taking great care in order to achieve the exact same colours and texture. The result is an absolute spot on match, and a breathtaking end result that we were extremely happy with. Another job well done, we’d say – and another personal favourite glass splashback of ours to show off on the blog!
