The latest piece to make it onto our blog is this rather fetching example of a fused glass art panel, becoming the newest addition to our catalogue of completed fused glass splashbacks. It found a home in Cardiff!
The focus for this piece was the colour. The palette was picked out by the customer to tie in with the kitchen, so the specific tones and shades had to be just right. Of course, all of the pieces we make are bespoke and made to order, so this was no problem. Every single piece of glass that rolls off our kiln is created by hand, which means it can become a perfect fit for any space you have in mind.
Once the colours were set in stone, a design was decided. The classic Dalaman would take the place behind the cooker, with a waving band of black contrast leading from left to right. Horizontal elements, placed along the centreline, exhibit a variety of colours, shades and textures.
We were extremely happy with the final product once it had been installed in situ. As you can see pictured above, the injection of colour into the kitchen worked perfectly. It manages to be a stand-out centrepiece while also tying the room together nicely. The customer was very pleased with the end result, and we’re sure that feeling will continue for a long time.
