This modern long kitchen is another prime example of fused glass art being utilised to create a strong theme. In this case, we really think that the unique qualities of the glass shine through and couldn’t be replicated by anything else.

The design of the pieces were created with the client’s wishes in mind. They wanted a nod to the Scotland location, so it was decided that a thistle design would work, skilfully incorporated into the dalaman design of the main feature. As for the colour palette, we opted for a stunning combination of rich teal hues and purple shades in order to create these panels. We made sure that the colour perfectly matched the existing décor, making full use of the fact that all of our glass can be made bespoke. This kitchen just wouldn’t be possible otherwise.

We also want to highlight the use of LED lighting here, if you’ll excuse the unintentional pun! We’re big fans of how fused glass art looks when it’s well lit, both when lighting is used to make the glass shine and when the glass is backlit to produce stunning effects. This project was definitely no exception, and you only have to take one look to see just how fantastic the end result was. The kitchen really glows!
