This beautiful fused glass art was created for a client in Cemlyn Bay, in turn located in Anglesey, North Wales. That’s where the piece still sits to this day, and although this may be a job from a little while ago, the glass looks every bit as stunning as it did when it first emerged from our kiln. Pieces such as this one really do highlight the difference between what coloured glass splashbacks and fused glass splashbacks are able to do, so they make for perfect features!

Let us tell you a little bit about it, then! The design of the glass features daffodils as a main feature, which really helps to instantly bring colour into the room no matter what the weather might look like outside. The light mounted above the piece works great with the vibrant yellow hues on the panel, and almost looks like the bright sun reflecting off of the flower petals. Altogether, we sense a very homely vibe and we’re glad to see it still in place in such a lovely home.

The bold and detailed nature of the design safely ensures that you’ll never confuse this piece for anything less than it is, and you’ll always have to stop and look when you see it in the corner of your eye. It’s a natural attractor of attention, and the perfect centrepiece for any kitchen. No matter who comes round to this home, whether it be friends or family, they’re sure to spot this splashback before anything else in the room!
