Home is where the heart is. That’s the old saying anyway, but it’s something we really believe in. Your home is such an important place; it’s your sanctuary, your safe place and your place of comfort. Everything you hold dear resides in your home, so it’s important to show your home some love. One way to do exactly that is with the help of one of our bespoke glass splashbacks.

After all, really, it’s the little things that make all the difference. The finishing touches are vital in taking care of your home. Choosing art work is one way to do this. And more and more people are turning to fused glass art and glass splashbacks instead of traditional art pieces.

glass splashbacks Making your home look fantastic is one thing we all love to do, and the best thing about it is that every home is completely different. They might be made from the same materials and start of looking the same but in the end; everybody ends up with a completely unique home. When you think about it, it’s quite like our fused glass art and glass splashbacks. We start with the same materials but never end up with the same finished product.

We’d like to share some pictures with you of an installation we completely a couple of years back, up in Scotland. We loved doing these glass splashbacks because it demonstrates how effective the glass splashbacks can be in a kitchen and highlights that they don’t have to just be positioned behind a cooker or a hob. A lot of people come to us and say “I’d love a glass splashback, but I don’t have room behind my cooker” but you can have them anywhere in the kitchen as an integral design feature.

The mostly black glass splashbacks make a bold statement against the neutrality of the rest if the kitchen and we love the pop of red and yellow colour – it even matches the statue!

As you can see, the black glass splashbacks tie in perfectly with the sink making for a truly unique and personal home décor. And that’s what it’s all about!
