Today’s blog centres around this stunning glass wall art feature from Bridgwater, Somerset. You might be surprised to learn that it’s not fresh out of the kiln, but rather one that we’ve had for a while!

This beautiful fused glass triptych was actually one of the very first crashing wave designs that Lisa ever created! It was bought years ago at a show of ours, but the customers were looking to put it in a project room that wasn’t quite complete yet. Since the space wasn’t ready yet, we held onto it until finally the time was right to send it over and get it installed next to the indoor swimming pool. We can confidently say that the end result was worth the wait, as the glass looks absolutely incredible in situ.

Fused glass art is actually the perfect material to create a decoration to be paired up with swimming pools, as it is not affected by the presence of moisture. This is also why it goes perfectly in bathrooms and kitchens, where steam might have a lasting effect on the look of other decorations. For anyone admiring the way that this glass complements the aquatic nature of the room and looking to achieve something similar in their own home, we’d wholeheartedly recommend it.
