Finding a home in the heart of the Lake District, this piece was created for a client in Keswick, Cumbria. The kitchen had a very bare space above the cooker that needed filling, and the client wasn’t going to settle for just any old decoration. When they saw our glass, they thought that it was just such a great idea to get their hands on something truly special for their kitchen. It just had to be one of our signature bespoke glass splashbacks.

They decided to opt in for our persistently popular Tree of Life design to match the space behind the cooker and introduce a unique splash of colour to the room. An upstand was added to go just above where the AGA cooker meets the wall, adding to the durability of the piece and ensuring that the glass itself would stay away from absorbing too much heat. We were all too happy to oblige every request that the client had, especially as we knew that the result was going to look stunning and last for a long time to come!

You can see how things turned out by just looking at the picture heading this blog. With a stunning view from the kitchen window, this splashback looks absolutely gorgeous in the light and shows that you don’t have to venture into the great outdoors to find beauty in the Lake District!
