One of our friends has recently purchased a house, which is an exciting prospect for anyone, and now the home is finally theirs, they can’t wait to start putting their own stamp on the place. Decorating is one of the most fun parts of owning your own home. After years of renting, you can get sick of bowing to the landlord’s wishes, rules and regulations, and having to get permission if you want to hang a picture, paint a wall or even move some furniture. So it’s such a great feeling of freedom when you own your own property and you can do whatever you like with it!
Our friend has already started planning a colour scheme for each room and has already come to us with ideas for one of our bespoke glass splashbacks for their kitchen. We can’t wait to get to work on it. We get excited about every project we undertake but it is great when we get to work with a friend, they’re always upfront and honest about the piece!
We love getting started on glass splashbacks and have already started thinking about some initial designs and colours that would work in the new place. The only drawback is we have to wait until the kitchen is fully finished before we can make some definite plans and a real start on the piece. We’re just working from rough ideas and colour schemes at the minute. It’s a little frustrating as we just want to get started! Still, we’ve got lots of other projects to be getting on with in the meantime that are keeping us super busy. And that’s the way we like it!
