Today’s blog features a stunning glass wall art panel, a triptych in three pieces that found a home in Bitteswell, Lutterworth. Feast your eyes on this mix of colours and contrast, and it’s sure to brighten up your Wednesday!

The design of the glass was created from an image supplied by the customer, who wanted to have it translated into the medium of fused glass art. It depicts a dramatic view of a New York skyline, with a two-tone sky and a variety of buildings silhouetted against the light. The whole scene is reflected in the water below, creating a mirror like effect that makes this glass look a lot like a photo print – but trust us, it’s all been created by hand in enamel powders.

We absolutely adore how the piece looks on the wall, with each panel of the triptych lined up perfectly in situ. The warm colours in the design complement the warm cream tone of the back wall, while the size of the glass allows it to fill the otherwise blank space in a unique and very eye-catching way. It was a job well done, and we were pleased as punch. The customer was delighted with the result, too, but we hope that goes without saying!
