Today’s piece comes from a home in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, and it’s a lovely little piece that goes to show how you don’t always need to go for a big grand panel in order to make a very large impression. This beautiful glass wall art brings an artisan touch to an already very interesting room, tying it all together nicely. We especially love the way that the wall was painted!
The glass is installed in a triptych arrangement, meaning it features three seperate panels that work together to create a single design. It depicts a Welsh beach scene, and is actually based on a previous piece of ours that we had created. The customer had seen it and loved the way it looked, but as the piece was particularly large she knew that it would simply be too large for the room she had in mind. She asked Lisa to create a design just like it, but with new measurements. The new triptych, as you see pictured above, measured only 90 cm x 45 cm and fit the design perfectly.
Vivid blue and green shades create a very interesting and textured sky, with a sandy beach in the foreground leading to the sea. Look closely and we’re sure you’ll be able to spot countless details hidden away in the intricacy of the art, as there’s always so much to see with fused glass art. Any piece that we create can be as detailed as this one, or more minimalist if that’s something you’d prefer.
