Nestled within an already stunning home on the luxurious Sandbanks peninsula, this particular kitchen splashback found a home in what we’d describe as the ultimate bachelor pad. Just have a peek at the way the kitchen looks, pictured above, and we’re sure you can imagine what the rest of the home looks like. And of course, as we’re sure you’ll agree, the fused glass splashback and related installation definitely make it that much better.

Coloured Glass Splashbacks in Fused Glass 2
A close up view of the main feature. Even with a relatively simple design, fused glass naturally gives the piece far more detail than you would have with any coloured splashbacks.

The design features a polished concrete theme, based around one central splashback boasting a particularly sharp dalaman design. Although neutral colours can be found aplenty, they suit the slick, modern styling of the décor and provide a tasteful injection of colour, texture and contrast. Blacks, greys and silvers all lend a helping hand, with a subtle orange burst to demand all the right kinds of attention.

For the most part, however, the design is kept very low-key and was designed to blend in with the walls to create a theme for the kitchen. It’s simple, in other words, yet you wouldn’t think so when you looked at it. The reason for that lies with the fact that the kitchen is adorned with our fused glass kitchen splashbacks, rather than plain coloured glass splashbacks that offer nothing in the way of variety or character. We think that the textured look of fused glass marries perfectly with the stark monochromatic design of the kitchen as a whole, and we’re proud of it to say the least!
