The House of Ugly Fish is a household name when it comes to the creation of stunning, one-of-a-kind decorations for the wall, creating stunning works of art with glass instead of canvas. Previous customers of ours and readers of the blog should know all about the versatility of our glass wall art, having seen it first hand, but new visitors might need a little introduction…

Custom Glass Wall Art Edinburgh Broxburn

Put simply, our glass wall art is able to go anywhere you’d like it to. We make every single one of our bespoke glass art pieces by hand, with each one being lovingly crafted by our resident artist Lisa Villarospo. That means that there’s no catalogue of pre-made styles to pick from – your glass is guaranteed to be created just for the space you have in mind.

After all, having an artist on hand to personalise the glass based on colour samples, photos and more is the perfect way to ensure the glass you receive looks exactly how you imagined it – if not better!

Our customers and clients also often worry that the space they’re looking to decorate with fused glass art is too awkward due to obstructions, but this is never the case. We’re able to make glass to any measurement required, up to a whopping maximum size of two metres, and we can cut shapes out of the glass to help it fit snugly wherever it needs to go. Pipes, cabinets, plug sockets and other obstructions are no obstacle for glass wall art panels or other products we make such as kitchen splashbacks.

In especially awkward situations, you don’t have to settle for just one single panel, either. Our fused glass art has been used to create panels of all shapes and sizes, often utilising a series of smaller panels to create one large, seamless design. In these cases, the smaller panels are less costly and much easier to fit, and the final effect is almost exactly the same. There are many designs made like this on our portfolio, so don’t be afraid to have a look through!

It’s a great time to get your hands on your very own gorgeously bespoke glass wall art, so don’t be shy! We’re in full swing as we gear up for the busy Christmas months, and our kilns are always fired up and ready to go. You can get in contact with us by simply picking up the phone or dropping us an email if you prefer to enquire online, and a member of our friendly team will be more than happy to answer any questions you might have about how what we do could work for you.
