Today’s piece comes to the blog courtesy of a home on Hayling Island, Hampshire. The design is an incredibly colourful layered wave, with bright and vivid colours that harken back to Lisa’s Italian roots by taking inspiration from the Carnival of Venice. Cascading colours in the foreground, carefully hand cut to give a fluid, flowing look, mix with shifting layers of vibrant wave shaped gradients in the background.

The various hues and shades complement each other, but contrast in all the right places. The end result of the unique design work is a highly personalised centrepiece, designed for this kitchen and this kitchen only. It should come as no surprise that it fits as well as it does!

We loved the piece when it had just rolled out of our kiln, but we’re especially fond of it now that it’s been fully installed in situ and it can truly shine in context. We’re confident it’ll have friends, family and guests alike admiring it for a long time to come.
